Burmese Python Snake

Burmese Python Snake. (Python molurus bivittatus) Burmese python are native to Southeast Asia including Burma, Thailand, Indonesia, southern China and Vietnam. Burmese python may grow more than 20 feet long or weight 200 pounds, and lifespan up to 25 years and more.

Burmese python live in rainforest as their natural habitat, range from areas of lush vegetation lining the river banks up to the mountain forests. These snakes are diurnal and equally at home on the ground and in trees. Burmese pythons are also good swimmers, enjoy a long soak in warm water, especially just before they are ready to shed. Ball python Snake

ball python snakeThe Ball Python (Python regius) is an attractive snake with a dark, brown-black pattern and yellow-tan skin. Ball Python (Python regius) called Royal Python in Europe. The “Royal” name was brought about in part by Cleopatra who reportedly wore these beautiful snakes as bracelets on her wrists.

Ball pythons are found at the edges of the forest land of Central and Western Africa. Mostly ground-oriented snakes, ball pythons are known to be semi-arboreal, and are crepuscular, being most active at dusk and dawn. Read more…
